Balance Sheet represent stock and Income statement does flow with figures.Stock means a lot of things but here it express possessions at a monent. Meanwhile flow means the movement from one time to the other time.

Although this difference is unclear, it might be easier to think about the difference between a high-income earner and a landowner.

A landowner has a big land estate. His stock is quite rich at this moment but could not earn so much income because of not renting his properties.

On the other hand, a high-income earner might not have big estate like apartments. However his yearly income might exceed millions money.

Let’s sum it up. Both are rich but a little bit different about how rich they are.
